A single object would not do justice, not even piece of art. The break point that has been made with his work has to be represented in the most pure form of geometry. The cube as the canvas and also as a visible object on the landscape. Changing, transforming, mutating its environment. The approaching visitor will perceive just not an object, will perceive a symbolic space for contemplation and meditation. The scale allows to contain light in three spaces for different activities called Lairs. This havens will evolve with time, their transitory condition will allow dynamic changes of content and activity. Regardless of the scale, the cubes will represent a content. This content can change and also the size of the cubes. They could be togheter as a single unit, but also they could be in different places, containing different activities, transforming different landscapes. It doesn’t has to be a static element, it doesn’t has to be just one or three either, it could be an object multiplied all over the world.
The legacy left by El Lissitzky is represented in this concept as three pure forms. These pure forms are cubes, which are divided by a strip that represents the break point made by the art of El Lissitzky. Each of these cubes represents a part of the life of the artist: it can be seen as a journey through moments of a life, 1 cube represents his “Art”, the second represents it’s “Life” and the third one represents its legacy. This concept is not made as a single object; it intends to be a journey that marks not only the landscape with its great scale but to be a lair for the visitors, who can live a different experience of the El Lissitzky world.
